GCC 7.4 Released

Hi Jon,

if/when you will update the gcc compiler, please include the patch for

https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47030

Unfortunately the paperwork was taking forever and it was not included
in the recent release.
